About
304 Stainless Steel
304 stainless steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both
chromium (between 18–20%) and nickel (between 8–10.5%) metals as the main
non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel. It is less electrically
and thermally conductive than carbon steel and is essentially non-magnetic. It
has a higher corrosion resistance than regular steel and is widely used because
of the ease in which it is formed into various shapes.

304 Stainless Steel Special Features
-
No peeling and interlining phenomenon on the surface of the
material, the surface is bright and clean, and the texture is clear.
-
Raw materials all come from primary molten iron, which ensures the
quality of raw materials.
-
Conform to the international technical production standard, strictly
guarantee properties when under the rolling process, batches differences are very little.
-
After aging and high temperature homogenization, can well control the
material’s grain size and ensure the mechanical properties of the material.
-
Easy to cutting, non stick knife, cutting chips are very small strips,
it is very suitable for automatic lathe processing
Applications:
-
Food processing equipment, particularly in beer brewing, milk
processing & wine making.
-
Kitchen benches, sinks, troughs, equipment and appliances
-
Architectural panel, railings & trim
-
Chemical containers, including for transport
-
Heat Exchange
-
Woven or welded screens for mining, quarrying & water filtration
-
Threaded fasteners
